Day 2 of super park at Mammoth Mountain California was a whole different story, with only sun in the sky and virtually no wind the boys were eager to get down. A lot of sessions went down today from the 85 foot step down to the double jump line in the woods, stay tuned for video

Every year for the last 14 snowboarder magazine has put together an event called super park, Its kinda like a circus on snow with freaks and weirdos from all over the globe. Each year records are set, minds are blown and Pat Bridges Editor of Snowboarder puts most to shame with a bigger bag of hand plants than travis rices travel budget... well maybe not. Murray hodgson, Tim Nelson and Chance Jensen made their way down to get in on the party in Mammoth mountain california, day 1 of the event had some pretty serious wind issues and the whole "jumping" thing didnt really go down but managed to hit one of the step downs that was protected from the wind. more to come!

In May 09 a team of grimy Bow Valley Residents made tracks to Mammoth Lakes California to indulge in the mayhem which is SNowboarderMags Super Park event. Logan Fulmer and Guillaume Fortin picked drove from Banff and picked me up in Vancouver. From there we drove to Reno (where I had just drove back from a week earlier) to pick up Murray Hodgson and Tim " Im the Nicest Guy in snowboarding" Nelson. The rest was history. SO a couple of our boys got to hit some of the mini kickers at Mt. Norquay with the Daily plant crew and super slow mo some of there best ever moves. if you pay attention to this little flick youll be throwing double corks by the end of next week! no not really but you could learn a thing or to about bad grabs and super sonic tweaks. Lake Louise has gone and done it!!! with 3 jumps in the pro line, 3 in the mini line and a rough total of 8 jib features plus a massive colvert sorta pryamide hip type deal, you gotta check it out! Chew and Timo put in a little time there on the weekend product testing and making sure gravity was still in effect.

Hey kids! Sorry for the neglect on the o’l B-log… still working out the kinks of running one of the largest “not so mega corporations” in the biz… Aaanyway some of our rider’s had the pleasure of slapping high fives and “sending it!!” at the 22nd annual EASY RIDER CUP in Jasper A.B. this past weekend and believe it or not the event set a new world record. Warren Currie (Event organizer and owner of easy rider) called up the Guinness book and got the OK to claim ”the largest snowboard posse ever” It sounded like thunder when we dropped in with over 230 shredders and thankfully no one got killed.. To start the event off they had a banked slalom with the top times advancing to a full contact boardercross. Not only did they not give any prizes for winning this event I’m pretty sure no one even remembers who won!… the up side, They gave away about $40.000.00 worth of prizes to everyone that showed up and entered!! This event promotes the 3 letter word that were all about (it starts with an F) and should be on your TO DO LIST next year!!
